ATV Exercise 1.4 Lines and edges:

I really enjoyed this exercise. I loved the single line explorations and the left hand and right hand drawings of the same thing. I was shocked how well I could draw with my left hand, all those hours of teaching myself to write with my left hand as a child have finally paid off! I did some quick work with pencil and with very fine pens and will explore more with other tools and on larger paper (I was out and only had my A4 pad with me). The single line drawing reminds me of free-motion stitching which I do a lot of. I first saw amazing portraits drawn by sewing machine some years back at the Knitting and Stitching show and was so impressed!
